Description: Sezon is a repainted version of GRANDOU where the figure’s skin is allowed to become something outwardly: other than labeling. The artist challenges what happens when skin is placed within another visual world. With blue heightening presence against expectations. ‘Sezon’, meaning Season speaks to transformation as seasons change with other emotional temperatures and atmospheres. However, with the same pursuit of freedom, the monstera familiar plants from home, ground the figure in a visual language. Sezon is a reproduction and a departure that reminds of roots of skin. The woman remains the same while the world around her has changed.
